Christmas projects and more...

So, I've put some of my new toys and creative juices to work this Christmas! It was fun and here are some of my projects!

For my sister-in-law: something sweet for the bedroom! "Always Kiss Me Goodnight!" It's on a canvas and I was picturing it right above the bed...

As a mother of boys, I hate leaving the boys out and have been wanting to find something cute for the little men in my life. My genius mother helped me think of this one! It's a hat/cap holder and wall art all in one! I personally love it.

Perhaps my favorite was the bow holder for my niece! Her mom has always said this saying, so I couldn't resist.

"The BIGGER the Bow The More You Know!"
Tylen (who is 100% boy) said this was the best one. lol!

We actually aren't doing Christmas until tomorrow so I'm excited. I'm safe posting them b/c very few people actually look at my blog since I only recently started posting more than once a year!
I had so much fun making them that I'm thinking of selling some...I could do any theme! Anyway--I'll have to post Christmas pics and include their reactions...I hope they like them!

A record....

Yes, it must be a record that I have posted more than one entry on my blog in a year! Actually Jessica was my inspiration with her amazing blog and blog give away! She rocks and I stink at this (and other times too if you read her blog lol)!

So...the other reason that I am here posting on my blog is that I FINISHED THE SEMESTER!!! Yippee!! Luke and I are both done for the semester with A's and B's. I'm so ready for a break and excited about my classes next semester. So, if I blog for the next month and then not again for 6 months...you know why!

After I finish this I will be preparing for the big Pineville Christmas Parade! As PTO pres I am helping get a float together for the parade so it should be fun. But, as most of you who know me know, I have a hard time settling for average. I've had to do it lately but I hate it. We are trying to get book donations to hand out books at the parade (and candy too). I found out yesterday that our public libraries take their discards (the books that aren't good enough to check out anymore) and sell them at the book fair! REALLY? Louisiana...this is why I love you....can you say CHEAP?! Oh well, it will be fine.

Read the following only if you are ready to read the rants of a whining pregnant lady!
I am now about 29 weeks pregnant!! I feel like it is my first pregnancy with so many differences this time (maybe that is b/c it's a girl--fingers crossed). No, really, I enjoyed being pregnant after the first trimester with the boys...this time I am MISERABLE! I know I sound like a big baby but until you are in my shoes...don't judge. lol! I was sick for 19 weeks this time...horrible! Then just as that passed I began having a wrenching pain in my pelvis. Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (go figure something about my body is dysfunctional) the doctor explained that the really strong ligament that keeps your pelvic from moving has loosened too much and too early. So, my pelvic that is supposed to be immobile is mobile which makes me not so mobile....It is even more painful than it sounds! On top of that I have Braxton Hicks contractions all the time that get painful this time. The combination of these causes risk of preterm labor apparently. The GOOD news is doc says baby is good, cervix is closed, and it's only me who is miserable! That is really good news!

I actually am liking this...maybe I'll make a habit of it...but don't hold your breath. Wait...is anyone reading this?? ;-)

Wow! I'm not good at this!!

It has been over a year since my first blog experience!! How funny is that! I think I'm going to get into it now...we'll see. Boy have things changed in our lives!

Let me briefly recap the past year!! We LOVED Lubbock very much and our time there was awesome. We were there for about a year and then circumstances brought us back home to Louisiana. We made so many friends there that I hope will always be a part of our lives. We have both discussed that we would love to move back there someday, when the time is right. But, for now we feel that Heavenly Father brought us back home and wants us here. We are both in school and Luke is working full-time. I am working on my Master's degree and already thinking that I am crazy! haha. Luke likes his job at Simpson Security and I LOVE that he is home every evening and weekend and his phone never rings at night!! It's so great!!!! We also LOVE being close to family. It is so great to have cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles around for the kids.

First of all I will have to change our website all together because we will not be a family of four for long!!! Baby Burch #3 is due March 1st!! We are very excited!! I was very, very sick for the first 16 weeks or so but it seems to have mostly passed now (at 19 weeks) and I'm feeling great. I lost about 14 lbs. in the process but I'm sure I will have no problem gaining that back!!! We are not finding out the sex of the baby b/c Luke really wanted to wait and this may very well be our last one. So, I decided to cooperate if I can stand it. We have been discussing names and I think we've decided.

Girl name- Jordyn Yvette Boy- Gavin Rayburn

Tylen is now 5 years old and a KINDERGARTENER!!!!! He loves school (most days) and is really making progress reading and writing. It's amazing and makes me feel very old! He loves riding his four-wheeler still and doing anything that little boys do! He got a trampoline for his birthday and that is his newest toy. He is a good big brother and cannot wait for his new sibling to arrive.

Braylen is 2 1/2 and still momma's little boy! He is a very laid back, loving little boy-his dad in toddler form. He is talking up a storm but only when there aren't a lot of people around. Just like Luke he does not compete for the stage when it comes to conversation. But, I am enjoying having alone time with him during the day and he is so much fun to just talk to all day. He is obsessed with my belly and the baby!! He is fully potty-trained which is wonderful! He also makes Luke and I laugh at least twice a day with his cuteness!!!

That's probably much more than anyone wants to read tonight so I'll stop there and upload pics and ful things tomorrow if I can make myself!
